La Madeleine performs a unique blend of French folk songs and ballads, and Celtic fiddle tunes. The group's sets will often include acoustic originals, as well as their own interpretation of popular jazz, R&B and folk songs. Drawing from extensive experience in a variety of performing environments, La Madeleine is equally comfortable playing concerts, restaurants/clubs and functions.

About the band: Vocalist Madeleine St. Amant interprets the work of legendary artists like Edith Piaf, Gilles Vigneault and Felix Leclerc with a warmth and simplicity that go right to the heart of this timeless music. Madeleine has performed for decades doing American jazz, folk and pop music, but has always been drawn to the songs of her youth in rural Quebec.

Melissa Streuli has recorded and performed throughout the US , both as a soloist and as an ensemble player. Her training includes extensive studies of classical violin in New York and Celtic fiddle techniques in Boston and Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

Chip Harding's career as a band leader, singer/songwriter and recording artist spans thirty years. His original songs have received airplay throughout the US and Canada . Chip plays guitar and piano - and sings with La Madeleine.
