
Todd has been performing in concert halls, restaurants, clubs, town festivals, parties, and weddings in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York City, Virginia, Florida, New Orleans, North Carolina, California, Philadelphia, and elsewhere across the U.S. and overseas for over 15 years. From 1992 to 1996 Todd served with the nationally known swing/blues band, "Eight to The Bar." In that group he played over 220 nights per year, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in blues, like Duke Robillard, Ronnie Earl, and Johnny Winter. As a sideman Royce has played and recorded with members of Van Morisson's band, the Saturday Night Live Band, Roomful of Blues, and David Crosby's "CPR."
Todd's original material is captured on two CDs which are available online and at every show. The debut CD, "Step into the light" (2002) received rave reviews from major music critics and continues to garner praise from fans (review). The follow-up CD, "Waiting for you" (released August 27, 2005) has also been met with a terrific response from fans and critics alike.
From 1990 to present Todd has played thousand of venues, including notable rooms and events such as Irving Plaza (NYC), Rockefeller Plaza (NYC), Toad's (New Haven, CT), Disney's Atlantic Boardwalk Ballroom (Orlando, FL), Yankee Homecoming (Newburyport, MA), Pearl Street (Northampton, MA), The Iron Horse Music Hall (Northampton, MA), The Newport Jazz Festival (Newport, RI), The Rockport Lobster Fest (Rockport, ME), Northampton Center for the Arts (Northampton, MA) Biker Week (Laconia, NH), Seacoast Repertory Theatre (Portsmouth, NH), The Lotos Club (NYC), Harper's Ferry (Boston, MA), John Hancock Center (Boston, MA), The Superdome (New Orleans, LA), The X-Games Vermont), Virginia Beach Concert Series, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland, OH).
