
Debbie was raised in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada and now makes her home Augusta, Maine. Her father Gerry Myers was one of the original members of the "Bunkhouse Boys" a name synonymous with country music in the Maritimes in the 1950'sand 60's. She grew up in the industry and came to appreciate the pure pridefulsound of Maritime Country. True to her roots Debbie carries a bit of her musical heritage with her when she walks out on stage. Extremely versatile Debbie plays keyboard, drums and guitar. Her forte though is vocals. Debbie has a style that has been likened to that of Reba McEntire, Whitney Houston and Patsy Cline yet is uniquely her own. She has a talen for injecting a piece of herself in every song she sings. She concentrates on country but has been known to introduce a little rock and jazz in her act from time to time.l She not only sings them, Debbie feels them. A quality recognized by the many fans she has touched during her performing career.
Currently she performs with her group "The Debbie Myers Show", which has become an anticipated feature event at many fairs within the state of Maine. In a career that has spanned more than 20 years, Debbie's talent has brought her three top 10 hit singles. Her first single entitled, "Strong Enough to Bend" remained on the charts for more than 16 weeks!
